UN-burden with love

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:32

The very truth that the secular world views as binding is ironically the only thing that can set us free. We are born slaves to this world and to Satan, but God gives us an opportunity to pursue a relationship with Him as His beloved children. Only in truth can we find happiness and joy. The pleasures of the world appear easy and "freeing," but in actuality, it is a life of bondage. God is reaching out His hand to us and we just need to make that decision to grab it. The pleasures of the world no longer seem pleasurable, and we see it for what it truly is. Serving God is not a burden if we embrace His love and have a desire to reciprocate that same love. Then serving becomes more natural and habitual, where a second-thought is never given.
